Sarah Siegel talk about Iboga and Bwiti at Good Medicine Collective

Join Sarah on Wednesday, February 11th, from 6–8 PM, at Good Medicine Collective in Portland Maine for her talk: “Exploring The Language of Iboga and The Bwiti (Bwété) Tradition from Southern Gabon”. Drawing on her extensive experience as the co-founder and lead facilitator of Basse Root Church, Sarah will share the origins of the Bwiti tradition and its sacred connection to the Iboga root bark. The talk will explore the vital differences between the whole plant and its clinical derivatives, illustrating how this ancient initiatory path addresses the "wound of separation" at the heart of the Western mental health crisis. Learn how these traditional practices offer a unique, holistic container for deep healing and integration.
